you sailed and sailed and none of the tools or your money fell off in transit
at the river’s mouth gatekeeper demanded you take your tools and your money and that
you hand over log at once.

Give to me your log, simple tool-bearers, we are violent and will evict you from this log.
later you are washed up and the tools are fine.
you look at money and the vision of log lost makes itself available to you.
quick work is made of vision and later you are blind, rich, and tool-bearing
and with broken heart you seek to
fall in the waterway as soon as possible
